Monday Music Evening at Beit Jabri

A weekly evening of classic Arabic tarab inside one of Old Damascus’s best-known courtyard houses. Traditional songs, live musicians and the intimate atmosphere of a restored Damascene home make this an especially enjoyable local night out. Upcoming Mondays are 19 and 26 October and 2 and 9 November. Because weekly programmes can change, reserving a table and confirming the performance on the same day is recommended.

Celebrated Syrian singer Shadi Jamil returns to the Damascus Opera House for a major evening of Aleppine and classical Arabic song.
