Registration has officially opened for Syria Travel 2026, a new tourism and travel forum scheduled to take place in Damascus from 28 to 30 September 2026.
The three-day event will be held at the Dama Rose Hotel and will bring together tourism professionals, investors and decision-makers from Syria, the region and international markets.
The forum is intended for tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, hotel groups, tourism-property developers, technology companies and organisations working with Syria’s cultural and historical heritage.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, the event forms part of wider efforts to reconnect Syria’s tourism sector with international markets and develop new partnerships across travel, hospitality and cultural tourism.
The programme is expected to include panel discussions, keynote presentations, a specialised exhibition and organised meetings between investors, tourism operators and service providers. More than 30 exhibitors and 20 speakers are expected to participate in the inaugural edition.
Registration for Syria Travel 2026
Professionals wishing to attend can now register online using a form available in Arabic and English.
The registration form requests the visitor’s name, contact information, professional specialisation, company, position, country and city. After the form is submitted, the visitor’s entrance badge will be sent to the registered email address.
The forum is primarily a professional tourism-industry event, rather than a general festival or tourist attraction. Advance registration is therefore recommended for tour operators, hoteliers, investors and other tourism professionals planning to attend.

What the Forum Means for Tourism in Syria
For travellers, the event does not introduce any immediate change to visa procedures, flights or entry requirements. Its importance is longer-term.
Bringing airlines, accommodation providers, tour operators, investors and cultural organisations together in Damascus could support improved tourism services, stronger international partnerships and new travel connections.
It also provides Syrian tourism businesses with an opportunity to present the country’s cultural, historical and natural destinations directly to potential regional and international partners.
Syria Travel 2026 will particularly highlight the country’s cultural-tourism potential, investment opportunities in hospitality and the development of more sustainable visitor experiences.
For Syrian Guides guests, the forum represents another indication that Syria’s tourism sector is rebuilding its international connections and working to improve the services available to future visitors.
