Update (January 29, 2026): Aleppo is back on our itinerary again, and we are currently welcoming travelers to the city as part of our guided routes. After a temporary pause, the situation has stabilized enough for us to operate responsibly and smoothly — and we’re confident including Aleppo again for visitors who want to experience its history, culture, and daily life.
Aleppo has always held a special place in our hearts — not just as a destination, but as a city with a soul. It is known for its warmth, its deep history, its culture, and most importantly, its people. The people of Aleppo have always been generous, hospitable, and full of life, even through difficult times. Their resilience is something that deserves respect and admiration.
If you’re reading this and you remember that we paused Aleppo before, here is the clear and honest reason: at the time, there was instability in the city, and we decided to remove Aleppo from our tour track temporarily as a precaution. We do not take risks with our guests — and we also don’t operate tours in a way that puts unnecessary pressure on local communities when things are tense. That decision was not taken lightly, because we know how meaningful Aleppo is for travelers, and how many people dream of walking through its old streets, tasting its famous food, and meeting its people.
Today, we’re happy to share the opposite update.
Why Aleppo Is Back Now
We have been monitoring the situation closely, staying in touch with local partners, and evaluating the reality on the ground. Based on current conditions and our operational experience, Aleppo is now back as an active destination on our itineraries, and we are running visits in a way that is safe, organized, and responsible.
When we say “cleared” or “safe,” we mean something specific: safe for guided travel under our planning and routing, with the same careful approach we apply everywhere in Syria — choosing the right areas, timing visits wisely, using reliable logistics, and remaining flexible if anything changes.
Aleppo is a living city, not a museum. And the best way to experience it is to visit it with clarity, respect, and a plan that fits the reality of the moment — not old headlines or outdated assumptions.
What You Can Expect When Visiting Aleppo With Us
Aleppo offers one of the richest cultural experiences in Syria. It’s a city where history and daily life overlap naturally — where you can feel the depth of the past while watching the present move forward with strength and dignity.
When we include Aleppo in your route, we focus on a smooth experience: clear timing, reliable transport, and a pace that allows you to enjoy the city without stress. We’ll guide you through the highlights, the atmosphere, and the local stories that bring the city to life — and we’ll also be honest about what is realistic on the day of your visit.
Most importantly: we stay flexible. If anything changes, we adjust quickly. Your safety and comfort always come first.
A Note of Respect for Aleppo
We also want to say this clearly: our updates are never just “travel announcements.” Aleppo is a city that has carried a lot — and its people have carried themselves with remarkable strength. We feel real solidarity with the community there, and we truly believe that Aleppo will continue moving forward, as it always has: a proud place, rich in culture, open-hearted, and filled with people who deserve peace, prosperity, and the very best.
